Photographs of your things are the most personal thing we hold.

So this page is about them first. The summary above each section is the honest version of the paragraph under it.

    What we hold

    Your contact details, your address, and photographs of your things.

    Name, email address, telephone number, the pickup address and access note you gave us, an emergency contact if you named one, and for every item: photographs, size, condition notes, shelf and the dates it arrived and left. Payment is handled by our processor; we keep only the last four digits and the expiry so you can recognise the card.

    Who can see it

    You, and staff on shift. Nobody else.

    Item photographs are visible to you in your account and to warehouse staff who are signed in on a shift. We do not sell data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we never use your photographs in marketing without written permission asked for separately.

  3. 03

    How long we keep it

    Photographs go 12 months after your last item leaves.

    Item photographs and condition notes are deleted 12 months after the last item on your account leaves the building. Invoices are kept as long as Indonesian tax law requires. Door and counter CCTV is overwritten after 30 days.

    Email

    Transactional messages always; nothing else without asking.

    Sign-in links, intake receipts, retrieval codes, release confirmations and invoices are part of the service and are sent whether or not you subscribe to anything. There is no marketing list. If we ever start one it will be opt-in from an empty list.

  5. 05

    Asking for a copy, or deletion

    Email hello@storageinbali.com and we will answer within seven days.

    You can ask for everything we hold on you as a single export, ask us to correct anything wrong, or ask for deletion once we no longer hold items for you and no invoice is outstanding. We answer from a person, not a form.

Ask, and we will send it as one export. Usually within the hour, Mon–Sat 08:00–18:00 WITA.
